SA58 OSW by Drake-UK SA58 OSW by Drake-UK
Newest addition and quite a unique piece compared to what I have in the collection.

Pictured is a CA SA58-OSW fitted with a few KAC bolt-on, Elcan Spectre x4 rep and Peq15 rep.

I'd like to fire this bad boy in full auto, even though I'm sure I'll be bouncing all over the place.

It's an airsoft gun.

But the real one still has surprisingly very little recoil.

I got mine a week ago and I love it! already figured out a way to get rid of the PEQ box with an internal battery.
I must say your rifle looks really good!

I was able to fit a stick lipo inside the front rail by removing the fake gas tube, the peq box in the picture is really only just for show.

Question: Do you know if these fit genuine steel rails? Really wanting to get the long version. Still want the rails, but there aren't any made for the long airsoft versions (other than King Arms, which I don't think fit). Same question goes for the genuine folding stock. Thanks. ;)

Honestly I'm not sure CA aren't well known for their accuracy and beside that theres a possibility of certain parts differing in dimensions or shape to accommodate the gearbox.

At I guess I'd say no.

Okay . . . I did ask because the CA SA58 is a licensed model, but I can't find any info about parts. Thanks, though.

When I had one of the old Kings arms FAL's I was able to fit a real deal handguard with very little work and from what I remember it was possible to fit a stock as well however the take down of the CA is completely different (nothing like the real steel version) which is why I'm not sure parts would fit.

*DROOLS* SA58 is my ultimate favourite rifle. I would love to get my hands on one of these (real and airsoft [although this is the exact replica of a real one that I shot. It's amazing])

Thanks its grown alot on me recently, it looks pretty intimidating on the field with those huge mags and such although its set-up has changed now with the kac bits being replaced with some larue index rail clips and hand stops and also ditched the elcan for a more cqb friendly comp4.

If I had one, I'd probably try to go more of the battle rifle rout. I've fantasized about getting one of these with either an HK-51 outer barrel extension or long silencer and sticking an ACOG rep on there. I prefer the shorter mags, too, but yours is definitely a CQB beast. Oh, and I just saw a picture of someone who'd gotten rid of the PEQ box and had a Li-Poly battery fit inside the rails. I'm not much of a fan of the PEQs . . . .

Mine can take a lipo in the upper rail as well all you need to do is remove the fake gas tube and your good to go, I just like the look of the peq on there ;D

I see. =) It's all preference. I've been wondering; if you take the rail off, could you fit an M4 CASV system on there? Ever since my M4 died, I've had a spare one lying around doing nothing. =P

Hmm I'm not actually sure I don't see why it wouldn't, I have an old casv here and the length is similar abet a little shorter however you'd be missing the strength the delta ring mounting provides so essentially the only thing holding it on would be the rear rail mounting.

Plus it would block the iron's seeing at they're pretty low to the stock receiver rail as standard. :P

Nice. They do have CASVs for the real SA58, but I haven't seen it for the airsoft, so that's why I was asking. I'm not much of an iron-sight user anyhow. None of my optics allow for iron-sight use. The structure would by my highest concern.

But I think it'd look wicked. *Hint, hint* J/K. =P

The internet.

:D

I usually buy and sell quite regularly so alot of the guns in my older photo's where traded/sold on for newer and shinier things.

Hah no I'm in no way rich (wish I was) and I only work in retail with some part time graphic design work on the side.

Alot of my stuff has been built up over time, adding small bits here and there until they're done so the cost is spread out over a good period of time.
